Come up here & see me, Jewell. Most babes will sleep in the car, then I can hold her while she screams afterwards & you can go out in the wilds of the Upper Hunter for a while. Not such a bad idea, no?

Have you tried baby gaviscon before & after feeds? Sboy used to have reflux during his feeds, the poor little bloke: he'd be happily guzzling away, then you would hear him 'burp' a little into his oesophagus & he would scream & recoil in pain when the stomach acid hit the lining of his oesophagus, so reflux is really an "Upper" tummy thing. GG had it too, but hers was less severe.

The A&E at the JHH isn't such a bad idea: sometimes an acute presentation will get the ball rolling quicker than GP visits. The waiting room is a pain, though. Don't they have a clinic that you could make an appointment at for situations such as yours? I'm not sure: it's different to when I used to have babies.

Thinking of you all. I can remember what it was like......
