Very Sad day

I have just received an email that has let me know that our Summer Solstice has been cancelled...

this i find very, very sad.....

There has been a lot of work put in by the elf's in buying present for everyone....

People were looking forward to saying goodbye for the Christmas break....and that has been denied them...

and for what i wonder

Yes, we did spend a lot of time Helen, but honestly - i think its for the best really. We will make up for it with a kickin' Witches Kitchen next year eh???

It is Helen very sad, I am sad because it seems the cottage is centered around just a few people not all the people who attend the cottage. Many people give their time to keep the cottage going, financially and their time for example to paint the cottage; many people give their time freely. It really makes me sad it has come to this; we all now will not have the chance to get together, before Xmas. I wonder where the cottage would be if no one gave their time freely. I am now rethinking if I will ever come back. I also wonder if this sort of thing will always go on,,, “The cottage for a few “ not the cottage for all .

the Cottage would never have lasted the way it has without helpers- i have always acknowledged that, been grateful for that.

I will miss you and your blog Helen xxx
